Special economic zone

Phase 1 of the logistic and investment park, over an area of 1700 ha and subject to advanges of free trade zone, is planned to be developed. A primary action is to create warehousing facilities using the advantages of special economic zone.   • Exportation and transit from IKAC to international markets
  • Raw materials importation, semi-completed goods from local and global markets to be used in production, processing and value added creation for re-exportation purpose.
  • Rendering services and customs facilities (for importation and exportation), carnet TIR, transit, insurance and transportation in the area.
  • To create customs facilities and to foster importation, exportation, production, processing, re-exportation and transit of products, machineries, raw materials and tools needed for production lines (from domestic and foreign markets)
  • No time limitation for storage of the goods, subject to mutual agreement, at warehouse with highest warehousing fee.
  • Possibility to assign or sell stored goods to others in part or in whole by warehouse slip and certificate of origin and being accepted by banks for opening L/C
  • Entrance and discharge of goods just by transit permit or Carnet Tir to other areas and border customs vice-versa using international transportation companies guarantees being issued based upon Carnet Tir.
  • Return and compilation of products from the temporary entrance point to the zone for re-exportation or transit and termination of the guarantee and obligations
  • Complete exemption from customs dues for production lines, facilities and raw materials on the condition of investment in the zone
  • Applicability of value added law for importation of production to country to the amount of the value added, excluding customs dues.
