The Commercial Important Person (CIP) has been operated since 2012 in a separate building from the main Terminal of Imam Khomeini Airport in a space of 7500 square meters and with an infrastructure of 8000 square meters for international flights on three floors.

CIP passengers do not experience the usual entry and exit procedures such as waiting in long queues or waiting for a flight card and luggage, but rest in the CIP Ceremonial Hall hours before or after their flight, regardless of the congestion of the main Airport Terminal, and with a variety of Iranian and foreign cuisines, cold and hot drinks and... They're welcomed with free buffet. During this time, all the boarding procedures from carrying luggage to getting a flight card and transferring passengers to the boarding bridge in private cars are carried out by the CIP team.
