🔹 According to the Office of Communications, Information and International Affairs of Imam Khomeini Airport City, a meeting of the Airport City Safety Committee was held under the chairmanship of Javad Salehi Artimani, Deputy for Airport Operations, to review the conditions, equipment and requirements needed for winter operations in 2026.
🔹 During the meeting, the forecast weather conditions, records of winter operations in previous years, the status of existing equipment and machinery and the operational units’ requirements were reviewed, with the necessary measures to enhance the Airport City’s level of preparedness also discussed.
🔹 Salehi Artimani emphasized the importance of proactive preparedness, stating: “Safe and reliable winter operations require serviceable equipment, trained personnel and continuous coordination among all relevant units. Existing capacities must be fully assessed and prepared before the onset of the cold season.”
🔹 He added that, following technical assessments and consultations among the relevant units, the list and quantities of equipment and supplies required for winter operations were finalized, taking into account safety requirements and existing capacities.  
🔹 The Deputy for Airport Operations at Imam Khomeini Airport City also emphasized the need to anticipate various scenarios for dealing with adverse weather conditions, stating: “Potential deficiencies, equipment readiness and the preparedness of operational personnel must be addressed before the start of the winter season so that, even under adverse weather conditions, airport safety and operational continuity can be maintained with minimal disruption.” 
🔹 Based on the decisions made at the meeting, the final lists of equipment and supplies required for procurement and preparation were submitted to the Deputy Directorate for Infrastructure Development, so that the necessary measures could be taken within the designated timeframe to procure the required items, ensure the operational readiness of machinery and address any potential deficiencies. 
🔹 In conclusion, Salehi Artimani identified continuous coordination among operational units and ongoing monitoring of equipment status as essential requirements for winter operations, emphasizing that the ultimate goal is to enhance the preparedness of Imam Khomeini Airport City and ensure the delivery of safe, reliable and consistent services to passengers and airlines throughout the 2026 winter season.
