🔹According to the Office of Communications, Information and International Affairs, on Thursday, 22 Aban 1404 (13 November 2025), Dr. Hossein Pourfarzaneh, Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development and President of the Civil Aviation Organization, along with his accompanying delegation, visited the East Baslange escalator and elevator project at Terminal 1 of Imam Khomeini Airport City (IKAC).  
🔹Earlier this morning, upon returning from Tajikistan, the President of the Civil Aviation Organization was welcomed by Ramin KashefAzar, CEO of Imam Khomeini Airport City. The two then toured the East Baslange project at Terminal 1, during which the CEO provided details on the project’s progress and its operational benefits. 
🔹During the visit, Dr. Pourfarzaneh expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the teams involved in the project, noting that the newly developed space will effectively enhance services and increase passenger satisfaction upon arrival in the country. He emphasized that this initiative, alongside other ongoing programs at IKAC, represents an important step toward elevating the overall passenger experience.
🔹He further stated that upholding the dignity of the public and providing facilities that meet international standards, particularly at Imam Khomeini International Airport, must remain a top priority. He added that this project has created a suitable and welcoming environment for passengers arriving in the country.
🔹Dr. Pourfarzaneh concluded by highlighting the positive efforts undertaken by IKAC to improve passenger satisfaction, noting that additional initiatives aimed at enhancing the travel experience have also been planned. He extended his best wishes for continued success and good health to Mr. KashefAzar and all IKAC staff.      
🔹It is noteworthy that during this visit, the President of the Civil Aviation Organization was accompanied by the President’s Advisor, the Deputy for Flight Standards, the Director General of the Central Office of Security, the Director General of the Aviation Oversight Office, the Deputy Prosecutor and Acting Head of Branch 30 of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office.
