🔹Many passengers arriving at Terminal 1 were previously greeted by a cold and metallic stairway, an experience that not only lacked visual appeal but also added to their sense of fatigue immediately upon entering the country.   
🔹To address this issue and improve the arrival experience, Imam Khomeini Airport City (IKAC) initiated the “Eastern Baslange Entry Escalator and Elevator Project” at Terminal 1 several months ago. The project is now in its final stages and will soon be ready for operation. 
🔹During his recent visit to the project site, Ramin KashefAzar, CEO of IKAC, emphasized the importance of accelerating the implementation process, stating:
“The passenger’s first impression upon entering the terminal must always be a priority. Projects aimed at enhancing the passenger experience are among the areas that clearly require greater attention from IKAC.”
🔹The project includes the installation of escalators, fixed stairways, an elevator, as well as architectural improvements, environmental design and lighting upgrades, all of which will provide easier access for arriving passengers entering the terminal.
🔹According to the project’s schedule, trial operation will begin in the coming days.
