🔹Abbas Eskandari, Director General of the Electronic Airport City (ICT) Office, stated in an interview with the Communications, Information and International Affairs Office that, in line with paragraph “P” of Article 107 of the Seventh Development Plan concerning the deployment of data-driven governance at Imam Khomeini Airport City (IKAC), the ICT Office, as the lead entity, has carried out multiple initiatives enabling the strategic utilization of the company’s valuable data assets.    
🔹He added that, to prepare the IT Strategy Plan and IT Master Plan, the Airport City has developed a comprehensive IT document and an IT governance framework. Furthermore, in line with the operational IT program requested by the Administrative and Recruitment Organization, the IT maturity assessment questionnaire has been completed and submitted.   
Eskandari noted that several technical meetings have been held with relevant national authorities, and it has been agreed that an on-site assessment of IKAC will be conducted to determine the maturity level and finalize the operational programs.   
🔹 Regarding the appointment of Data Stewards across the Airport City, he explained that due to the large volume of generated data, the designation of Data Stewards within specialized departments was reviewed. The proposed candidates for this role were introduced to the Administrative and Recruitment Organization and training courses on the fundamentals of data-driven governance were conducted for them.   
🔹Eskandari announced that following the on-site inspection of ICT infrastructure by representatives from the Administrative and Recruitment Organization, the Parliament Research Center and the ICT Department of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, the one-year IT operational program for IKAC will be formally issued and its implementation will be mandatory.  
🔹He added that, aligned with IKAC’s mission and vision to become a regional logistics hub and to enhance passenger experience, the ICT Office is advancing its digital transformation program based on integrated data architecture, network infrastructure modernization and redesign of operational systems. The aim is to establish an intelligent and data-driven airport capable of managing flight operations, aviation services, logistics, asset management and passenger services based on reliable data. 
Key focus areas include: 
• Establishing a data integration layer and standardizing the data model
• Implementing BPMS, RMS, Billing and other operational systems
• Integrating airport systems with national platforms
• Developing and upgrading systems such as FIDS, Airport Taxi Management and GIS
• Launching a performance-based resource management system with 360-degree evaluation
• Deploying a performance-based budgeting system, development of cloud infrastructure and backup data center 
• Implementing IoT-based smart systems 
• Enhancing cybersecurity monitoring through SOC and SIEM platforms
