MoU Signed Between IKAC and Iran Railways to Launch the Tehran Logistics City
With the signing of this memorandum, the Airport City will gain access to the national railway network, while the Aprin Logistics Center will benefit from air transport connectivity.

🔹 Ramin Kashef-Azar, CEO of Imam Khomeini Airport City (IKAC), announced that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IKAC and the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways will soon be signed to launch the Tehran Logistics City.  
🔹 In an interview with the Office of Communications, Information and International Affairs, Mr. Kashef-Azar stated that, in line with the National Logistics Centers Master Plan and recognizing IKAC’s capacity as the logistics hub of the capital, an MoU has been prepared to jointly identify Imam Khomeini Airport City and Aprin as components of the Tehran Province Logistics City.
The main areas of cooperation include:
• Synergy in business development,
• Collaboration in expanding services,
• Exchange of technologies and experiences, 
• Establishment of a rail connection to the Airport City.

🔹 Responding to a question regarding the validity and main objectives of the memorandum, the CEO explained that the MoU will be valid for two solar years from the date of signing and exchange and may be extended by mutual written consent of both parties. He added that this MoU will enable IKAC to utilize the railway network, while the Aprin Center will gain access to the air transport network. 
🔹 In conclusion, Mr. Kashef-Azar emphasized that the MoU between the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways and Imam Khomeini Airport City Company marks a significant step toward launching the Tehran Logistics City. He noted that the integration of air, rail and road transport capacities within the Airport City makes this cooperation particularly important for advancing Iran’s logistics infrastructure.
