🔹 According to the Office of Communications, Information and International Affairs of Imam Khomeini Airport City (IKAC), a coordination meeting on outlining the requirements for implementing a data-driven governance system was held today, Tuesday, 17 November 2025. The session was attended by IKAC Board Members Reza AnjomShoa and Alireza Ghasemi Farzad; MohammadReza Torki, Director of National Systems Management and Data-Driven Governance at the Administrative and Recruitment Organization; Mahdi Safdari, Head of ICT at the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development; Yahya Moratteb, Head of E-Government and Data Management at the Parliamentary Research Center; along with IKAC deputies and department directors.  
🔹 Reza AnjomShoa, a member of the IKAC Board of Directors, welcomed the attendees and stated that Imam Khomeini Airport City, as the country’s gateway, holds significant strategic importance and strives to lead national technological advancement. He emphasized that IKAC will undoubtedly take major steps in the future of data-driven governance. 
🔹 AnjomShoa added that training specialized personnel in the strategic use of data is one of IKAC’s key priorities and recognizing the data generated across various sectors of the Airport City as a unified organizational asset is a core principle of the company. He noted that, in line with the obligations set out in the Seventh Development Plan, pursuing data-driven governance with full commitment is a legal responsibility and one that IKAC will firmly support.
🔹 Following the performance report presented by IKAC’s Data Governance Office (Electronic Airport City Office), MohammadReza Torki, Director of National Systems Management and Data-Driven Governance at the Administrative and Recruitment Organization, stated that organizing and integrating data governance efforts across IKAC, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development’s affiliated companies and other executive bodies is a highly valuable undertaking. He emphasized that smart transformation and the provision of intelligent airport services require dedicated focus. Torki noted that IKAC has already taken commendable steps and with the ongoing planning, the quality and standards of IKAC’s data will continue to improve. 
🔹 Torki continued by noting that IKAC’s ongoing follow-ups, system updates, active engagement and consistent attention to data-driven governance clearly demonstrate the organization’s strong commitment to this agenda. Given IKAC’s substantial capabilities, he emphasized that the Administrative and Recruitment Organization will continue to support and accompany IKAC to ensure the full implementation of data-driven governance. 
He added that the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development with its 15 affiliated companies and organizations and its broad operational scope is considered one of the most well-organized government bodies in advancing data-driven governance objectives.  
🔹 It is worth noting that after the meeting, the participants visited the IKAC Electronic Services Office (ICT Building), Terminal 1, the Airport Operations Control Center (AOCC) and the Air Traffic Control Tower. During the visit, the Director General of the Electronic Airport City Office and other managers provided the necessary briefings and explanations.         
🔹 This visit provided IKAC with an opportunity to present its current status, ongoing projects, upcoming challenges in data governance and digital transformation, as well as the regulatory requirements needed to complete the data governance cycle. The exchange of views during the visit played a significant role in aligning policies and accelerating the advancement of national projects.
