The main responsibility of the Imam Khomeini Airport Emergency can be summarized in the following headings:

First Aid

The first aid unit of Imam Khomeini airport is located in B hall of passenger terminal 1, and in addition to the presence of an experienced doctor and medical team, it is ready to provide medical first aid such as: electrocardiogram, serum therapy, oxygen therapy and prescription of medication.

Also, if necessary and in full interaction with the Tehran Emergency Services, patients referred to the first aid unit will be sent to the hospital centers of Tehran as soon as possible.

If there is an emergency patient and according to the pilot of arrival or transiting flights from Iran, the plane lands in an airport city and after making the necessary arrangements and without wasting time, the emergency patient is transferred from the plane to the ambulance and sent to the nearest hospital unit.
